Catching Up Part 1

Since my last post things have changed. October 19, 2019 I married the love of my life. It was a beautiful wedding and felt so blessed to have so many people show up who care about us. Mt besties were in town, it was a day I will always remember!

We have been married for 4 1/2 months and we continue to grow in our love and learn more about each other (good and bad) daily. We love, we struggle. We make it work.

We were accepted to go to Kenya with out church this coming July. I am so excited. I have been wanting to serve in another country for a long time. Kevin is anxious, but equally excited.

We went to fertility Doctor because I am ready to have a baby. I wanted to start now, but with Africa the Doctors are asking me to put things off until afterwards...which makes sense. I also have to titrate my medications with Dr. Welch ahead of time- which can take months. So we continue to wait and pray for the right timing.

I struggled with substance abuse for the majority of October through December, felt incredibly convicted and stopped immediately.

We got to spend the new year and my birthday in KY with Sean and Chey. It was great to be away.

January brought along a new job for me. I am not working at West Valley Jail full time and part time at Canyon Ridge. The transition was much easier than I anticipated. I am nor sure how I like it.. it is all still very brand new.

Anxiety and depression had been goon for months! But it is back full force starting this February. I will write more about it in part 2.
