Stage 1 Baby Prep

So K and I started seeing a fertility Doctor a year ago. We have done a bunch of testing, exams, and blood work. We have been trying to figure out when we want to move forward with the next steps. We decided that March, this month, would be when we would start the actual procedures. I went to see Dr. Kolb yesterday. I had an exam which showed 10 follicles- not the best, but not too bad either. I had lab work done to see if everything was okay for me to start the medications to help produce more eggs.

Everything was cleared, so last night my first treatment started. I thought that I would be taking pills....NO it is injections! I was not sure if I was going to be able to give myself the shots. There are 2 that have to be done everyday for the next 10-14 days. K said he would do it, but then on a closer look of the needles he said he couldn't. I have to give the injections 2 inches below my belly button. I grabbed the skin like the picture showed and pressed the needle to my skin. Um... I pushed it slowly, but too slow to actually puncture my skin. I finally got up the nerve to give enough pressure to get the needle in. It actually didn't hurt at all. It was just the thought of doing the action that freaked me out. So here we go. We are in stage 1.
