So Saturday (3/25/17) I went to the Doctor to see my progress on the medications. He said that there were eggs and that they were ready to be retrieved. I had to give myself one last shot that night. It was called a trigger shot- I guess to release eggs?!! I will show pics of all my bruises from all the injections I have been giving. But tonight was the last shot! Monday morning 3/27/17 Kevin and I went in for our procedures. Both of us were put under anesthesia. Kevin had semen extracted, a procedure called a TESA. I had my eggs retrieved. Dr. Kolb said that I had 8 eggs. Now they create embryos and freeze them. We will wait for a few days to see if this process went as planned. Then we just wait until we are ready to start a family. So far everything is going as it is supposed to.
