Email from Elisabeth

 Dearest Ely,
I am deeply grieved by your mother's death - a woman who loved her Lord and loved her family and loved prayer!
Yes, you are at the correct address with me. I am Elisabeth Wyss and remember the day very well, when your mother, father and sister came to my house in Santa Cruz. I don't remember if they actually stayed with me at that point (which they have done at other times) or if they stayed somewhere else and came to join me to receive you.
It was so much fun to see your sister - anxious to see her new sister.... Since I had a car, we drove to the place where you stayed with another family. All those details behind you stay there escape me. However, I had had telephone contact with the woman of the household and she told me the address and we went there. I don't remember neither names nor address, somewhere in the surroundings of Santa Cruz.
We got there and you (just a  few days or weeks maybe old) wee introduced to your family. Your sister wanted to play with you - but that was a little early Your father took you in his arms and ..... the rest I don't remember.
Yes there was something about papers and signatures but that all escapes me. The woman who was looking after you had it all in her hands. We then parted - oh I guess that your parents did live with me, I remember you crying at night..... But that really was only for a few days because your parents really were on their way to a place in Chiquitanoland. A few days later you all left by SAM plane. There was overweight of stuff to go along in the plane (which was nothing unusual....) and unfortunately some boxes with milk for you was left behind unknowingly to everyone..... Your parents found that out a few days into their stay in Chiquitanoland. I received a desperate call from them and I went out to the hangar to find the boxes with milk among the other things left behind. All was well and your parents were able to stay - your father was training "sanitarios" and your mother now was a mother with two little ones .... Your parents were brave people!!! I always admired them!
This is all I can say, I don't know if you helps any way. Sorry I cannot recall any of the names of the family you had been with. I don't even know how long you did stay with them, I only remember two or three calls before we went to meet you. Now, that I  write about it, I think I was not even supposed to know the name of the family who had you in their home. The signing of the papers were done in a different room which I did not have access to.
I do hope you will be able to find out more about your biological mother and thus find real deep peace in your heart. God had given you good parents!
Greetings to your dad, if he remembers me.....
Love to you,
Elisabeth
